Can you fax your tax return to the IRS?
Not normally: the IRS says to send original returns by mail or e-file. The exception is a reply to a notice about a missing return: the fax number on a CP518 or CP518I notice, or 855-800-5944 for a CP518B. The IRS says an online fax service is fine for these.
