PageFax

How to fax from an Android phone

An Android phone can't send a fax by itself, but it can hand your pages to a service that dials the fax machine for you. You can do that here in Chrome or any other browser, without installing anything.

  1. Enter the fax number, area code first.
  2. Tap Take a photo for paper pages, or Add PDF or photos to pick a file from your phone.
  3. Check the page count and the price, then tap Send fax and pay.
  4. Keep the page open or come back later to see the delivery result and receipt.

Getting a clean photo of a page

Lay the page flat in good light, hold the phone straight above it and fill the frame with the page. Sharp, evenly lit text matters more than resolution, because fax is black and white. Google Drive's scanner can also turn several pages into one PDF you can add here.

Do I need a fax app?

No. Many fax apps are free to install and then ask for a weekly or monthly subscription to send. If you fax now and then, paying once per fax is simpler.
