Questions
Is it free?
No. You'll pay once per fax, by card, and see the exact price before you send. In return there are no ads on your pages, no daily limits and no subscription. If the fax isn't delivered, you aren't charged.
What happens if the line is busy or nobody answers?
PageFax tries up to three times, a couple of minutes apart. If it still can't get through, the hold on your card is released and you pay nothing.
What if only some of the pages arrive?
You pay the price for the pages that arrived, not for the whole document. The fax isn't sent again automatically, because the recipient would get duplicate pages.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Enter the number, add your pages and pay. The status and receipt stay in the browser you sent from.
What can I send?
PDF files and photos (JPEG or PNG), up to 30 pages per fax including the cover page. Export Word or Google Docs documents as PDF first.
Where can I send to?
Fax numbers in the United States and Canada, including toll-free numbers, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
What happens to my document?
It is uploaded over an encrypted connection, kept only while the fax is being sent, and deleted from our storage as soon as the fax finishes.
Can I receive a fax?
Not yet. PageFax only sends.
