PageFax

How to fax from an iPad

An iPad can't dial a fax line on its own, but it can hand your pages to a service that does. You can do that here in Safari, without installing anything: photograph paper pages with the iPad's camera or pick a PDF from Files.

  1. Enter the fax number, area code first.
  2. Tap Take a photo for paper pages, or Add PDF or photos to pick a file from Files or Photos.
  3. Check the page count and the price, then tap Send fax and pay with Apple Pay or a card.
  4. Leave the page open or come back later to see the delivery result and receipt.

Scanning several pages

The Notes app can scan documents into one PDF: in a note, tap the camera button and choose Scan Documents. Then share it to Files and add it here.

Do I need a fax app?

No. Many fax apps ask for a weekly or monthly subscription. Paying once per fax is simpler if you fax now and then.
